Over the end of June, I had declined. I was in a lot of pain. I ended up at the doctor A LOT. They were testing all kinds of things – urine, blood, etc. They thought I had a UTI, maybe even a Kidney issue, maybe cervicitis, or maybe something else.
I ended up getting an MRI on my lower abdomen and it showed I had a large cyst on my right ovary AND some blood colleting in my abdomen. Not great news. Clearly, our FET (Frozen Embryo Transfer) was going to be backed up AGAIN……and I had to have another surgery. Not ideal.
So I had to go in for surgery #3. (I did not mention it earlier, but my first surgery was to remove uterine polyps. The second one was the egg retrieval and this was the third.)
As usual, my boys watched me all afternoon after doug got me home in and in bed.
Post op!
And of course – my recovery meal of pizza!
Doug took great care of me. 3 surgeries in 3 months was quite enough. Not nice on the pocketbook either. Finally I was on the road to recovery – I hoped.
I hoped we could do the FET next cycle and we could move on with this intense process. It would be a month later that we could implant those babies of ours. Until that update….
Love and Hugs, Lizzie
