Doug, Sarah and I headed out to see my favorite parade of the year…THE IRISH CHANNEL PARADE! Where you can catch veggies, cereal, and happiness from each float.
We ran into some volleyball kids and decided to hang there as Courtney and Krewe were on their way.
A little while later Courtney and krewe arrived and it was a blast!
It was Rory’s birthday so he was especially ready to party! Also there to celebrate Rory was Nola! I photographed her to prove she went to a parade even though she hates them. She took it for the team! Hugs Nola!
Rory was semi-impressed with his pie day celebration! 
Riley was way more excited!
As our friends came by it got more and more fun.

We had a blast. We caught lots of kisses, cabbages, a few carrots and moon pies. More important was the amazing people we got to visit with and see. We got to celebrate Rory and good friends along the way. I love this time of year in Nola.
