Doug and I headed to Austin for the weekend for three good reasons.
1. Leslie, my cousin, (and her fabulous husband) are traveling Broadway Stars. She is one of the fabulous ladies in Jersey Boys and her show went to Austin.
2. We have dear friends in Austin we needed to visit.
3. We have never been there!
So off we went! We drove there with a quick stop over in Houston on that Friday night.
We finished the drive that Saturday and arrive in Austin in time for some shopping and lunch with my family.
Doug found some awesome mini luchidor masks for a possible future baby announcement. They were so cute!
Then we met up with Uncle Robert, Aunt Donna, Uncle Neil, John, Leslie and Laura for lunch!
After lunch we headed to see our stars in Jersey Boys! 
So proud!
After seeing the amazing show (John and Leslie did such a great job!) we headed to have dinner with some good friends. We met Jen, Kenneth, and Alex at this awesome grocery store/playground/musical show and visited with them for hours! It was so great seeing them!
Then we headed out and had drinks with Pedram. It was great catching up with him!
The next morning we met Aaron, Aiden, Angela, Ainsley and Avery for brunch! The food was great, but the company was the best part. All those A’s are adorable. We loved every minute. Sadly, no photos. Fail, but we will do it next time!
After brunch, we drove back to Nola. It was a very quick trip and I wish we had one or two more nights to see the city. The most important part was the people and we got to see everyone on our list!
