The story of Elizabeth Betty by her mother.
Lizzie was born on March 6, 1981, at around 730 am.
She was about 2 weeks early, but was perfect! She weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces. As a baby she always liked to sleep. Her Dad would get home around 7pm, and she liked to stay up to play with him.
She would go to sleep around 11 pm, and wake around 11 am, that's my girl!! Lizzie always smiled and laughed! She was happy, and you could see the devil-ment in her eyes! She would flash those eyes, and I knew I was in trouble!
Lizzie always loved Mardi Gras. When she was about a year old, we would hit 3 parades a night during the week. Weekends were dedicated to parades, too. I guess she gets her obsession honestly!
Her Dad decided to open his own veterinary practice in Hammond, so we moved when Lizzie was 14 months old.
She had a great time playing in the mud puddles during the construction process. We adopted a cat soon thereafter, and she named him Ozzie. So began her cat lady tendencies!
Lizzie was always a good kid, and a good student. In grade school, she decided that we should all call her "Lizzie", and that was that!
If I went through her whole life up to now, this would be a very long blog. Maybe I will guest blog another day and continue the saga.
I could not be more proud of the woman she has become!! Her determination and hard working habits have made her successful in business. We love her so much, and Doug is the best for her.
Love you both always.
