Lance Moore! at Rouses?

Sarah texted a picture of a Rouses ad to Ashley and I. I was very curious as to why she would text us a Rouses ad until I looked closer. MEET LANCE MOORE AT ROUSES!

Sure! Why not?!?

It was a Tuesday afternoon. Sarah had to teach spin class as Ashley and I attended the class. After the grueling class, we hopped in our cars and headed to the Rouses on Carrollton. Andrew met us there after we found the line to meet Lance.

He was surrounded by his body guard, a NOPD officer and other handlers. Seriously? Lance could have protected himself, but I guess uniforms always scare away the crazies.

We got in line and ended up being the caboose to the whole meet and greet. As we stood in line we talked about what we would say to the football star. Ashley planned to invite him to the wedding. Sarah remembered him from college in Ohio.

We got up to the table and Sarah went first.

 

She took that picture and then rambled on about Ohio fumbled about. Pretty funny. Then it was Ashley and Andrew’s turn.

They got up there and Andrew asked him to sign his football. He agreed and they took the photo. Ashley completely choked. She did not say a thing.

Then it was my turn.

I asked him to hold Cinco as it was actually the 5th of September. He asked what the significance was and I told him I usually take a picture with Cinco every fifth of the month, but as Doug was unavailable,  I was taking the picture with him. Awkward. haha.   He took it in stride.

After our meeting, we grabbed some groceries….I mean, why not? We went home and Ashley made deluxe grilled cheese sandwiches. 

What a day!
