We spent the night in Hammond for Doug’s actual birthday.
Doug ordered Burritos for his birthday so that is what we had:
After lunch we had present time. All the “typical” decor was there. Signs, presents, cards and the bulldog bag. 
He got lots of awesome gifts, but I think his favorite was the red head band from Red Mango. He wore it the rest of the night even as he cut watermelon: 
The following morning we finally had enough room in our bellies to eat his birthday pie:
Through it all, Doug was really a great sport:
Well, sorta.
