We spent a lot of time at the 49th State Brewery. One afternoon they had a duo musical act so we sat outside to enjoy the awesome music.
It was then we felt the full wrath of the mosquitoes. I seriously do not know how they deal with such big blood sucking bugs everywhere – even inside restaurants, etc.
I could not even carry a conversation as they would land on other people. I slapped people on the face, arms, heads, etc. It was super distracting.
Here is where I got one on Doug’s face. See how stinking huge. 
It got to the point when the mosquitoes were so bad the duo had trouble playing and singing. I walked up and offered them the bug spray. I was not shocked when she gladly accepted and sprayed them both down.
We had a great time visiting with Alex. :)
The “Magic Bus” movie prop is kept on site so Dad went to check it out. If you have not heard of the Magic Bus, it is a sad story that you can google if you feel the need.
While we were in AK, the LSU Tigers were playing to get into the College World Series. We watched all the games at the brewery. 
Sadly, we all know they did not win, but it was still fun. We had a great time. :)
