The following morning we went to Hammond to hang with my parents for my birthday. Dad did a great job with my chalk work on the front driveway:
At some point I was banished upstairs so the birthday elves could get to work!
Once I was told to hurry downstairs because the “kitchen was on fire”, I hurried down the stairs to blow out my candles.
(Being told the “kitchen is on fire”is a family tradition that was used to get us out of bed the morning of our birthday. It is so goofy and I love it. I will continue it with my kids. )
My cake was made of blueberries and strawberries! Yum!
I got new kicks, shorts and workout stuff.
My family rocks! Of course, there were birthday signs…Here are some good ones…
Doug making fun of my me and my potato salad from the cook off…
Birthdays sure are fun in my family. I had a blast and it was not even my actual birthday yet! :)
Thank you so much Mom, Dad, Alex and Doug. I love you guys. I missed you Ashley. Next year! :)
Love and Hugs, Lizzie
