This was our first anniversary we spent together. We had to spend the first monthly anniversary apart. Doug was working in the gulf and I was in Nola.
On our first anniversary we spent together WE STARTED A NEW TRADITION! I pulled down a “5” piñata from the wedding and told Doug (poor fella) that I wanted to take a picture with the piñata every 5th to celebrate.
So on July 5, 2012, Doug and I played volleyball with our Thursday night team!

Just catching up on your stupendous blog and, well, um, actually ... it's QP who says "the first xx are the hardest." And it drives UJ crazy every darn year. (Maybe that's why I do it!)
