It is official. I mailed the Save the Dates yesterday afternoon.
Yayyy!!!
I made the trek to the NEW ORLEANS post office on Carrollton so they would be hand metered from Nola. I even ordered special king and queen stamps to make them all cute.
The Save the Date cards are being mailed all over the world! Two are going to England (Doug’s step-father’s brother and my dear friends – The Barnes’), one to Scotland (Doug’s Mother’s brother and wife), one to Abu Dhabi (SABRINA!) and the rest are in the US (from California to NYC).
I must admit collecting the addresses and making the spreadsheet was fun. I am only missing 5 addresses right now. I will send those cards as the addresses roll in. We did cut down the guest list to 175 invitations. We had to cut quite a few people off the list. It is always so hard to cut people you really want to invite, but it just has to be done.
